Phase One: Complete

Thanks to some VERY generous funding solutions, we have reached the end of Phase One of the Amityville Renovation Project.

No porch. I'm not doing well with this part, but I'm trying.

Various piles of leftover porch that will hopefully be reinvented as a porch-like structure. Soon.

Bricks. Of course. There are several more piles like this laying around...

More porch pieces. Someday.

Remember those two sets of steps? Here they are, in all their glory.  We'll see how this ends up working out.

Here's our real foreman, Lunch, coming to check out the clean-up. She's also pointing out an issue with not having a porch. Our fence used to connect to it. Sigh.

And here's where this adventure ends and the next one begins. Our "wrapped" house. I like to refer to it as "Art Deco." Next phase: Pulling out all the insulation we paid to have installed underneath so the house leveling guy can come give us a bid. Perhaps someday we'll have siding, but my guess is those bushes will eventually get tall enough to hide the Tyvek...
