Disorder cocktail, anyone?

(***Disclaimer: This is purely a commentary on my own life and not to be taken as downplaying any of the referenced disorders.) I’m not a doctor, and I don’t play one on TV. However, as I was looking at my train wreck of a house, I realized that I need an excuse. And everyone knows a medical excuse is way better than any other kind, so I’ve decided to create mine. The way I see it, I suffer from ADHD, bipolar disorder, and CDO, (which you may recognize as OCD, but I prefer to see the letters in alphabetical order). If you’ve known me any length of time, you know that ADHD isn’t a stretch. Or deniable. Just ask any of my teachers. Ever. Being still while not completely absorbed in what I’m doing will not happen. No way, no how. (Pausing now to go put on socks…it’s 30 degrees under my floor.) Okay, I’m back. Yes, I found several other things to do on my way back downstairs. Aiden's Meatloaf....

The boy created this today and wants to make sure it makes it to Pinterest, so here we go. :) Aiden’s Mexican Meatloaf 2 lbs ground beef 2 c crushed tortilla chips 2 cans Rotel 1 small can enchilada sauce (or a large can, and use half to pour over the top) 1 chopped onion 2 eggs 1 c shredded cheese 1 T taco seasoning salsa tortillas Preheat oven to 350*. Mix all ingredients together. Place in sprayed pan. Shape into a loaf. Pour salsa or enchilada sauce over the top. (We did half and half to see which we liked better. It was a tie. Next time, we’ll do both!) Put in oven until temperature hits 170*, about an hour and a half. I served this with corn, refried black beans, and tortillas! (By the way, my mom helped a little.) So I posted this picture on Facebook, and I am sort of proud of how they turned out... I needed to come up with an inexpensive, but meaningful gift for my confirmation group. I ended up at IKEA with all the grandparents today and found these super cute frames. Thanks to my husband, I have a Cricut...and my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge had these awesome letters. I found some Basic Grey paper that I love, but hadn't found a use for, and some white rub-on letters to finish out their names. Their initials are glitter paper from Walmart. I found Bible verses that reminded me of each of the girls and printed them on coordinating paper. (Printed on white first to make sure they fit, then used a fine line of glue to stick the pretty paper on the white paper and ran it through the printer again. No surprises.)
